How to Use the Caribbean Barbecue Sauce

Hey Mon Caribbean Barbeque SauceOur Barbecue Sauce (12oz) is a Caribbean-style take on an American classic. It is sweet, a little tart, but not hot. The Barbecue Sauce is a little different from the grocery store variety. We’ve won 1st place awards more than once for this sauce. Great for your traditional uses, but also good as a cocktail sauce for shrimp, nice on baked potatoes or French Fries. Some even use it to season meatloaf, and add it to spaghetti or chili. This sauce makes you want to lick your fingers!

The Barbecue Sauce is a wonderful accompaniment to the Mustard Pepper Sauce or Private Stock Hot Pepper Sauce. Our meatloaf recipe with this combination is a definite family favorite!

Dianna’s Extra Nutritious Meat Loaf

2 lbs. ground chuck or ground round
1 medium onion (chopped)
Hey Mon Caribbean Stewed Cabbage
(Multi-purpose) Spice
½ cup oatmeal
1 Tbsp. wheat germ
1/3 cup Hey Mon Caribbean
1 Tbsp Mustard Pepper Sauce or Private Stock Hot Pepper Sauce
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together with meat. Form to fit a loaf pan. Place
in preheated 375° oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until cooked
through and brown on top.

Serves 4-6
