Hey Mon’s Oxtail Stew Recipe

2 lb. Fresh Oxtail (lean)

4 tbs. Hey Mon Barbeque Sauce

2 tbs. White Vinegar

2 tbs. Hey Mon Private Stock Hot Pepper Sauce

1 tbs. Hey Mon Stewed Cabbage / All-purpose Spice

1 Small Onion(chopped)

2 Stalks Celery

1 lb. Potatoes

¼ lb. Mixed Vegetables

16 oz. Water

Place oxtails in a bowl, add about 16 oz. water and vinegar, wash and drain, and then add Private Stock Hot Pepper Sauce, Stewed Cabbage / All-purpose Spice and onions. Mix thoroughly, place in a 2qt. pot, add water to ¾ full, and then cook on medium heat for 90 minutes or until tender. Add Barbeque Sauce, celery, and carrots. Cook for another fifteen minutes, then stir and serve.
